Two wheels are better than four #2

On to Fontana (or Fontucky, as it seems)! This was the first NORBA race of the season. NORBA means national class riders from all over the US are duking it out for points. OK, maybe we don't get travelers for the lowly beginner Masters class that we like to race in. Still this is a battle from start to finish.

As opposed to Bonelli, we did two laps of a hilly and dusty course. This was not the most technical ride, except for a few steep dusty and loose downhill sections. Andrew got passed by some teenage kid while laying on his back in the dirt after flying over his handlebars in a spectacular endo. All in all it was only 14 miles of racing but after two hours of slogging it out in the sun you can be sure that it was Miller Time. Nor finished 5th in his class, and Andrew finished 3rd! John rounded out the podium theme by hammering to a trophy in his class.
