Two wheels are better than four #1

Race #1 of the season: Bonelli Park, March 2006. For days before, it had been drizzling rain. The morning of the race was cloudy and the skies threatened rain. John, Carlyn, Nor, and Andrew took to the trails of Pomona to do battle with the finest locals in LA. This was Carlyn & Nor's first bike race! Everyone finished, with Carlyn getting bruised ribs in the process. John kicked butt and managed a top 10 finish in his class. Nor & Andrew also managed top 10 finishes in their class. Andrew might even have made the podium had he not had a huge flat tire in the middle of the race! Oh well...on to Southridge!
